Here´s a post a bit off topic but please read this carefully I cannot leave this without a serious warning.
I have come a cross a couple of sites that let´s you retweet their site instantantly by just putting in your Twitter account and password, SAY WHAT? You should not leave your login and password there because how can you know they are not saving your account for later use.
Using your account the site owner can start sending out spam-tweets in your name and destroy your reputation. "That´s not a big deal for me." OK what if you have the same password somewhere else? You are not anonymous on the Internet, believe me. Give me a day or two and I can dig up a profile of you that would make FBI proud and if I can, than you can bet there are thousands of others that can too, they just won´t tell you.
So please do not, I repeat, do not leave your account and password on those sites.
If you on the other hand are the site-owner who just want to get some traffic than please there are a lot of other ways to do it. This way makes you and your site a fraud in my eyes no matter how good your intentions are.
OK, no more rant from the security guy in me.
One last word though, think before you act.
Talk to you soon.
